Belgrade Cuts is an attempt to illustrate the essence of a city, one which does not lie in its streets and architecture but rather in people who live in it. Illustrations represent the means, the symbolic, and the synonym for the people, and in such sense for character of one city.

Motives such as a park, a smile, a house, trees i.e. details which are common for all but still experienced in different ways occupy the central spaces of these city fragments.

Illustrations are a graphic language of representing a city, the attempt to expose a common trace which connects and binds all, yet in doing so always equally preserves the specificities, otherness and uniqueness.

In this sense, Belgrade Cuts are only a synonym, a suggestive part of experience, of the known and accepted, of realized and acceptable, a subjective experience which, precisely as such, silently speaks of a birth and life of a city for one and for all.
